Meet Erica
I grew up in Northern Nevada where my father, an elementary school teacher, and my mother, a member of United Scenic Artists local 829 IATSE, instilled in me the importance of collective action and service to others. While I dreamed as a little girl of being a professional soccer player, that dream shifted over time and I became a civil rights attorney, fighting for those same values instilled in me at a young age by advocating to protect working families, seniors, and vulnerable members of our community.
Erica’s candidacy is built on the work she’s done in her community, centering the voices of impacted people and speaking truth to power.

As an attorney, I’ve fought to protect consumers from predatory corporations, tenants from unjust treatment, and our neighbors experiencing mental illness in need of comprehensive care. One of my proudest moments came in 2022, when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. I was working as Governor Sisolak’s Deputy General Counsel, and within hours of the decision coming down, I had drafted the Executive Order protecting providers and patients seeking essential and lifesaving care in this state from criminal prosecution. Now, my candidacy for Assembly District 24 is built on these same principles.

Outside of work, I enjoy all the natural beauty that Northern Nevada has to offer with my faithful rescue dog, Noah, by my side. A true champion for the underdog, I’m proud to have dedicated my time fostering over 10 rescue dogs set for euthanasia.
I know that policy must be created by and for the people it impacts, and I will continue to champion:
- Housing as a Human Right
- Criminal Justice Reform and Evidence-Based Public Safety
- Union Protections
- Environmental Justice
- Reproductive Freedom for All
